Ruislip is a township that is situated in the northwest London, England and it is under the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Ruislip Lido was built as a reservoir in order to supply the Grand Union Canal by flooding and damming the lower component of the valley between Copse Wood and Park Wood, including the small town of Park Hearn.
